From Humble Beginnings
At just seven years old, I embarked on my first entrepreneurial adventure, navigating my township neighborhood with a basket full of fruits and snacks. This early venture wasn’t just about earning a few coins; it was about discovering resilience and business acumen. These formative years laid the foundation for my entrepreneurial spirit, shaping my journey from the very start.
Making Technology Accessible
I always had a knack for entrepreneurship, which began with selling small items as a child and later working in a coffee shop. But it was during my teenage years that I really found my passion for technology. I studied microcomputer technology and quickly became proficient in fixing, repairing, and assembling computers.
Driven by the desire to make technology accessible to everyone, I started a business assembling second-hand computer parts. This initiative allowed me to provide affordable computers to people in low-income communities, bridging the digital divide and empowering others through technology.
Crafting the Perfect Latte
As I grew older, I took on new challenges and opportunities. My journey led me to a bustling coffee shop, where I perfected the art of making the ultimate café latte. To this day, I joke that my café lattes could win awards, though the true reward was the satisfaction of crafting them with care. It was here that I learned the value of dedication and quality.
My passion for baking also flourished during this time. I became known for my moist chocolate cake, flaky croissants, and buttery scones. I even created my own signature treat, the “Queen’s Delight” – a decadent cookie with a jam filling dipped in milk chocolate.
Beauty and Beyond
My path then led me into the world of beauty therapy. Co-managing and co-owning a beauty parlour honed my skills in business management and customer service. Together with an awesome team, we revitalized a struggling business, implementing strategies that reduced expenses by over 60% and increased revenue by over 500% within four years.
Beyond financial metrics, we focused on fostering a positive work environment that boosted staff morale and improved customer satisfaction. This experience taught me the importance of effective leadership, strategic planning, and building strong relationships.
This experience paved the way for my next venture: launching my own aesthetic clinic. Growing this business was a thrilling ridefilled with opportunities for innovation and personal growth. I explore the art of creating my own cosmetics and perfumes. I learned many other skills within beauty aesthetics.
As I grew my beauty business, I reached new heights and achieved significant milestones including a successful exit at 10 x multiple on my innitial investment.
However, at the peak of this journey, my life took an unexpected turn with a profound loss that was too close to my heart. This personal tragedy made me question my very existence and challenged everything I thought I knew. Amidst the ashes of this upheaval, I discovered a renewed sense of purpose. The beauty of starting over was not just in rebuilding my career, but in finding myself and embracing the next chapter of my journey with newfound clarity and resilience.
Embracing AI Ethics and Social Impact and Advocating for Environmental Education
When life throws curveballs our way, it’s easy to feel as though we’re being punished. However, it’s often in these moments of adversity that we find our true paths. My life was no exception. A personal tragedy redirected my journey into the tech space and social impact in a way that could only be described as divine.
Today, I am a thought leader in AI ethics, a social impact entrepreneur, and a passionate advocate for environmental education. My qualifications span microcomputer technology, microbiology, and physiology. I am also a certified AI Ethics Ambassador through AI Ethics World and the United States Artificial Intelligence Institute. My academic journey includes graduating from two Bible schools with qualifications in Church Leadership. I am currently pursuing an Executive MBA and a Master of Science in Physiology.
Through MyZalu.org, I champion environmental education for children, aiming to inspire and empower the next generation of environmental stewards. Projects like the Blue Ocean Curriculum with ECOP Africa highlight my commitment to integrating children’s voices in discussions about ocean conservation and digital literacy.

Beyond my core work, I am a business coach, mentor, book writing coach, and children’s book author. My experiences with startups have provided me with a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs. These experiences have deepened my commitment to aligning individual and organizational goals for collective success, helping people and businesses realize their potential.
As a business coach, I work closely with clients to identify their unique strengths, refine their strategies, and foster a mindset that embraces both innovation and resilience. Mentoring allows me to share my insights and experiences, guiding others through their own journeys of growth and discovery.
As a book writing coach, I am passionate about helping aspiring authors bring their stories to life. I emphasize the value of expert guidance, accountability, and community support in turning thoughts into a beautiful masterpiece. Whether it’s a memoir, a novel, or a non-fiction work, I believe every story deserves to be told with authenticity and care. I provide my clients with the tools and encouragement they need to overcome creative blocks, stay focused, and ultimately see their projects through to completion.
